Throughout my career, I’ve seen how bringing stories to life through tone, character voices and expression can spark children’s engagement and support language development in a natural way. When stories are shared in this playful and expressive way, parents often feel more confident enjoying books together at home. In a world where there can sometimes be a strong focus on school readiness and early learning targets, I believe it is equally important to protect time for curiosity, imagination and the simple joy of sharing stories.
